Just to give Marcie equal screen time, here she is:

This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We (usually) live in Papua New Guinea and are working to support Bible translations in progress around the country. Gavin is a helicopter pilot and Carrie is a Public Health worker, primarily working with HIV/AIDS awareness. Isaac, our first son, was born in January, 2004. Our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were all born on August 9th, 2012 and a whole new adventure is just beginning!

I am loving following your story. I first heard your story on klove and now read your updates every day. I'm so glad they're all doing so well! I just wanted to respond to your question. Boy/girl sets can't be identical. They have to be the same gender. Anyway... prayers for your babies and keep up the great updates!
ReplyDeleteYeah, he knew that. He was being goofy. :) - Carrie
DeleteSilly Gavin! But now you know who the trickster of the bunch is!
ReplyDeleteI have friends with twins and when the dad wasn't sure which twin was with him, he would ask, and what is your sister's name? The update and pictures are great. Jane, you look awesome. Love you all. Judith
ReplyDeleteMine totally smiled at me in the NICU! Engaged, social smiling well before term. I bet she is.
ReplyDeleteLike it was said, boy/girl sets can't be identical but you can have identical within the group. Two girls or two boys, etc. If they both came from one egg then they are identical.
ReplyDeleteI heard this story about twin girls who got into ink pens and scribbled all across their parent's LEATHER couch and when the daddy asked them who did it, they both
ReplyDeletelooked at each other and said "YOU!" The mom and dad couldnt help but laugh! :)
Praying that one day ya'll will be able to identify them correctly!!!
Much Love, Ruth
PS. By the way, it was my best friend's twins!!!
