This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We live in Papua New Guinea and are working to see lives transformed by the living Word of God through Bible translation. Gavin is a helicopter pilot. Carrie, who has her degree in Public Health, works in the lab at our busy rural clinic. Our son, Isaac, was born in 2004 and our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were born in 2012.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. The you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. -Proverbs 3:3-6

West Coast fun!

Isaac is really into drawing. This is an old photo of his beautiful Aunt Marlene.

The intrepid Marmi with Gracie, Marcie and David at the cabin in the Sierra Nevada.

Isaac is a fun chauffeur . . . scary, but fun.

The kids found the train in San Francisco Airport INCREDIBLE. They're pretending to drive, of course.

Such sweet moments sometimes!

And now they are 8!

We had a wonderful pandemic birthday, unexpectedly Stateside with beloved family and friends! These kids were blessed/spoiled with THREE birthday parties: a small scavenger hunt one planned and hosted by Aunt Pam and Aunt Cynthia, a family only party hosted by my sister (at the house we brought the quints home to from the hospital and lived in for the first two years of their lives!), and a street party for our little neighborhood. The kids have had great little and big friends, and we have the sweetest neighbors.

Cinderella Gracie (even eating on the hearth like the princess she's dressed up as!)

Princess cousins! The theme was clearly blue and purple.

With the neighborhood friends. Such a fun place to live!

Piñata time! Gracie's turn.

Thankful for a great carport!

Each quint got to choose a small cake to serve.

With their wonderful big brother!
