We would appreciate your prayers for Carrie, since she has a bad sore throat that may be turning into a cold. She can't go to the NICU when she's sick, so that will be pretty tough on her, especially if it lasts long.
Seth is about the same. Yesterday his oxygen needs were lower but today they have gone up a bit. He is resting well and gaining weight, which is a praise.
Marcie is doing well on the nasal cannula and we are hoping she will move into an open crib soon along with Will and David.
Grace is doing ok, but today has been having some bradycardia events. She did gain a little weight yesterday but still has a long way to go.
Gavin
This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We (usually) live in Papua New Guinea and are working to support Bible translations in progress around the country. Gavin is a helicopter pilot and Carrie is a Public Health worker, primarily working with HIV/AIDS awareness. Isaac, our first son, was born in January, 2004. Our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were all born on August 9th, 2012 and a whole new adventure is just beginning!

Prayers from Florida
ReplyDeleteCarrie,
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry you're sick. I got sick while mine was in the NICU as well. I couldn't go for a few days. I know how hard it is. Try to remember that even though you aren't there with them they are surrounded by angels. The babies are all doing so well. They have come so far. :) Praying you get better very quickly.
Sarah
Just out of curiosity, I saw on NBC today about a family from Texas with Sextuplets. The last one just went home. They said that there was a family that just had Quints there. Would that happen to be you guys, or is there another family?
Lifting Carrie in prayer. Hoping she is resting comfortably and will get well quickly.
ReplyDeleteHeavenly Father, We Storm the Heavens for Prayers for Carrie's Healing...We ask you to fill her with your Love and Your Peace that passes all understanding, as she waits to be able to see her Babies again.
