This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We live in Papua New Guinea and are working to see lives transformed by the living Word of God through Bible translation. Gavin is a helicopter pilot. Carrie, who has her degree in Public Health, works in the lab at our busy rural clinic. Our son, Isaac, was born in 2004 and our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were born in 2012.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. The you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. -Proverbs 3:3-6

A few weeks' worth of little "adventures"

Seth making cookies as part of his OT/PT with Mrs. Christy. I wish they did that every week 'cause those cookies were DELICIOUS! Seth has restarted physical/occupational therapy to help him in particular master small motor skills (like holding a pencil) before they become really critical in kindergarten.

Will and David as pilot and co-pilot in Daddy's helicopter

Stillness and sanity for Mom: Watching TV in the recliner

Three little piggies! Seth, Gracie and David. Will and Marcie didn't get their photo taken.

Celebrating "Sunny Days" at school: Marcie (on the right) with a little friend

Will in his sunglasses at school, learning the letter Aa and wearing a very appropriate shirt! ;)

David at school, coloring his letters

Will doing a craft at school

Marcie at school

The boys playing with micro machines at Aunt Karen's (an old photo)

Daddy, Will and Seth "excavating" dirt in the sandbox at Lapilo (New Tribes Mission's center near Goroka). We had a three-day break there recently. The kids were so happy with very simple pleasure! The sandbox was a veritable Disneyland .
