This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We live in Papua New Guinea and are working to see lives transformed by the living Word of God through Bible translation. Gavin is a helicopter pilot. Carrie, who has her degree in Public Health, works in the lab at our busy rural clinic. Our son, Isaac, was born in 2004 and our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were born in 2012.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. The you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. -Proverbs 3:3-6

Thank You!

Thank you so much for your contribution to us!  We have been blown away by the prayers, notes, gifts and love that has been sent our way.  You are a blessing; thank you for being a part of our lives!

With gratitude,

Gavin, Carrie, Isaac, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace Jones

  3. Been following aynd praying for you, your family for the last week or so. My daughter went to college with your cousin Annelies(sp?) I wanted to say how impressed I was with Issac at the news conference. He protrayed a very strong Christian character, I know from his parents, training him "in the Lord" Issac is a very special young man, I know you are very proud of him. I have no doubt that all your children with be brought up the same way. God bless all 8 of you. God has a special plan for each one of you. We continue to pray for all health and saftey of each little one. Karen

  6. I just stumbled across your story on Yahoo tonight. As a yoyo Christian most of my life, about 3 months ago I decided to finally take the walk and stay in it. I will lift your family up in prayers and always remember, God knows what He's doing. My son born at 26 weeks weighing in at 1 pound 2 ounces is now going to be 18 in November and surpassed all the doctors expectations!!! God is good and I know He was a great plan for your family!!!
