This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We live in Papua New Guinea and are working to see lives transformed by the living Word of God through Bible translation. Gavin is a helicopter pilot. Carrie, who has her degree in Public Health, works in the lab at our busy rural clinic. Our son, Isaac, was born in 2004 and our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were born in 2012.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. The you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. -Proverbs 3:3-6

27 Weeks today!

Carrie and the babies are at 27 weeks today, praise the Lord!  She's had a really relaxing day-- the first in several days where she did not get significant unwelcome news.  Many have asked about visiting her.  She would love to see people in the afternoons and evenings.  Just get in contact with me via email or the blog if you would like to see her.

While Carrie's parents were here, they also got a chance to tour the NICU and see firsthand how prepared they are for us.  We also saw a baby born only 2 days ago at 25 weeks and it was incredible to see how tiny and fragile he was.  I'm glad we were able to see him so we can be prepared for the birth of our babies.  We know they're not going to look like full-term babies, but seeing the reality is good preparation for us.

  2. Carrie all your pictures make me smile! We praise God that you (six) have made it soooo far, and pray that they will continue to "chill out" in your womb until they are older and that your BP will decrease to a healthier level. You really do look SO stinking beautiful, and I LOVE you so, so much!!
