Apparently, his current condition has nothing to do with the medication mess-up. It was just God's way for us to get him to the hospital where we could get him better care than at home. He works in mysterious ways . . . .
This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We live in Papua New Guinea and are working to see lives transformed by the living Word of God through Bible translation. Gavin is a helicopter pilot. Carrie, who has her degree in Public Health, works in the lab at our busy rural clinic. Our son, Isaac, was born in 2004 and our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were born in 2012.
Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. The you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. -Proverbs 3:3-6

Praising God for how He works in our lives, so many times without our even noticing His intervention. And, thanking God, for how He is intervening in little Seth's life so that he can get the treatment he needs. And praying that all continues to go well with Seth's hospital stay and that he will be home and well very soon. Also, lifting you up, Gavin and Carrie, as you must again split your time between home and the hospital, and praising God for your wonderful, selfless volunteers. NKL
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely....good to hear he is resting comfortably. Prayers continue.
ReplyDeleteIsn't God amazing? He has used my mistakes in the past to bring glory to Himself. I hope you're not beating yourself up about the medication error. Just praise God that He has used it in Seth's fragile, little life.
ReplyDeleteSo glad God has brought you where you need to be! Praying for great care for Seth today, and that all will go smoothly for everyone at home, too.
ReplyDeleteDidn't even turn on the computer this morning and just now read of your night's adventure. So greatful that things are doing better. God is merciful.
ReplyDeleteLove you all.
