He just tripped over a truck's tow bar and fell HARD, busting his chin and jaw. He needs stitches and an x-ray. The worst pain is at the joint near his left ear. He's in a lot of pain and has been somewhat hysterical. I told him I would ask you to pray.
Thank you!!
This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We live in Papua New Guinea and are working to see lives transformed by the living Word of God through Bible translation. Gavin is a helicopter pilot. Carrie, who has her degree in Public Health, works in the lab at our busy rural clinic. Our son, Isaac, was born in 2004 and our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were born in 2012.
Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. The you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. -Proverbs 3:3-6

Lord, I come to You this morning, praying that Isaac had a comfortable night, and that he is not in much pain. Please help him to know that he can count on You for comfort and strength, and that You can do much good with our weakness. A big lesson for a young man, but he can know that there are many prayers and petitions coming to You on his behalf and I pray that gives him peace. Please bless him today and heal him quickly. All praise and honor to You, Father. Amen. NKL
ReplyDeleteLord, please touch dear Isaacx's face, head and jaw. Please bring comfort and peace to this precious child of yours. Please calm his spirit so that he can rest and allow the healing proces to take place. I pray also for Gavin, Kerri, Sam and others who are in the house tending the all the needs of this very special family. May the quints have an especially calm and quiet season during these days when Isaac is needing extra attention. May everyone involved sense your presence and power. Amen.

Father God, We bring Isaac before You and ask Your tender touch remembering the scriptures You have given us concerning children. We ask in Jesus name for Your special touch of healing and relief of all pain, and that there be no nerve damage. We understand what the stripes of Jesus did for us and claim it in His precious name.
ReplyDeleteBless Isaac, Lord, he has been such a willing helper with the babies and quietly remained loyal to them without jealousy or envy. He is a little man after Your very own heart. In Jesus name we pray...Amen
