He is still on 1 liter of oxygen, but the pulmonologist hopes to get him off entirely this afternoon. However, he likely will need some overnight as everyone's blood oxygenation decreases when they are asleep. Therefore, our earliest likely discharge date would be tomorrow or Wednesday.
Gavin, my dad, Isaac, Will, Marcie and David are flying back to Dallas as I write this, so please pray for them. Naomi, Megan and Gracie are on a different flight back to Dallas as well (Naomi came just for the wedding portion of our visit; HUGE blessing she was here when Seth was admitted!), so pray for them too please.
I am in the cafeteria showing Seth the murals. Gotta run!
I can hardly express how happy these photos make me feel, even with the oxygen cannula. Will keep playing for dear Seth and for your family during all the travel and changes of plans.
ReplyDeleteCarrie, he looks wonderful. That sparkle is back in his eyes! Sending traveling mercies for all those in the air and on the ground! My heart knows you will be together very soon and on your way back to PNG. The "dark one" cannot win by trying to keep you and Gavin from your Mission! While he will try at every turn our Father has His hand on you all and you WILL be spreading His word back in PNG! Wish I could give you a huge hug, you are the strongest woman I know.....praying as always for you all and especially for my little man Seth!
ReplyDeleteOh Carrie, what a beautiful picture of you and Seth, yes beautiful. Pure love. Thanks for sharing and can't wait to see you two...even if it will only be for a very short while :(.
