This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We live in Papua New Guinea and are working to see lives transformed by the living Word of God through Bible translation. Gavin is a helicopter pilot. Carrie, who has her degree in Public Health, works in the lab at our busy rural clinic. Our son, Isaac, was born in 2004 and our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were born in 2012.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. The you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. -Proverbs 3:3-6

Oops - forgot the cart photo! (See previous blog post)

Seth "driving" (no keys in ignition) while Marcie summits the back seat for the 32nd time. Their very patient, good-humored Grandma keeps watch in the background. My parents were AMAZING!!!

  2. I want to make a suggestion. All my life I had trouble with pain in my ears, going up and down in planes, and since I was an "MK" we did it a lot. It was when I was an adult and got infection in my ears on one of the flights that the doctor told me to use Afrin Nasal Spray whenever I go on a plane, a little before departure. It has worked ever since. No more pain, and no more pressure. It's been wonderful to find the answer. It opens up all the nose, ear, eye passages, said the doctor. I wish I would have known long ago. I don't know if it is safe for children, but I highly recommend it to anyone who has that trouble on planes. Beth beth_seng@wycliffe.org)

    1. I see that my granddaughter signed into my gmail account on my computer, therefore you see my name as Ashley Noel. I've changed it now. I think you will recognize my user name since I have followed your posts and occasionally write something. Beth
