Yesterday I got to go to Parkland to meet my new friend Opalyn (Ofa is her nickname), who is also having quints! It brought back SO many memories, seeing her sit there gestating and eating and just trying to stay pregnant. She's doing a great job. :)
One of her residents who came in yesterday was also one of the residents who worked with my maternal-fetal medicine doc. The doctors all work for UT Southwestern, so it's one big family even though she's in a different hospital than I was. She'll get great care! I can never thank UT Southwestern/St. Paul enough for all they did for me and the babies.
Opalyn has her own blog now. I really enjoyed reading the backstory, clicking on the tabs at the top of the page. www.clarkquintuplets.blogspot.com
She is 25 weeks and 3 days now. Please pray for her and the babies as you are led, and I'll try to keep you posted!
This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We live in Papua New Guinea and are working to see lives transformed by the living Word of God through Bible translation. Gavin is a helicopter pilot. Carrie, who has her degree in Public Health, works in the lab at our busy rural clinic. Our son, Isaac, was born in 2004 and our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were born in 2012.
Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. The you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. -Proverbs 3:3-6

Thanks for visiting my niece, Ofa. She is the daughter of my younger sister. We're from the Philippines and I am glad to know about your great ministry in Papua New Guinea. May you be blessed more with much love, joy, and peace as you delight in serving Him, the KING of kings, and the LORD of lords.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Rene, I am blessed by Ofa! We DO delight in knowing we get to serve such a great od and King and Lord
