This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We live in Papua New Guinea and are working to see lives transformed by the living Word of God through Bible translation. Gavin is a helicopter pilot. Carrie, who has her degree in Public Health, works in the lab at our busy rural clinic. Our son, Isaac, was born in 2004 and our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were born in 2012.
Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. The you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Seth's surgery approved!
They will do it tomorrow (Thursday) or Friday. The anesthesiologist did an assessment today and said he looks well enough to plan to proceed, barring a sudden significant cold or infection. Please pray he remains infection-free so he can get his g-PEG and come home!! :) Thank you!

Lord, we thank You for how You have blessed Seth so far, and ask for Your continued blessing as he has this upcoming surgery. Please guide the doctor's hands and give clarity and good discernment to all those caring for Seth. His family wants him home, Lord, and we pray that he will soon join his brothers and sisters and be able to get the 24/7 family love he so needs. Be with Gavin and Carrie and give them peace and all the helping hands they need. All praise and honor are due You. Amen. NKL
