This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We live in Papua New Guinea and are working to see lives transformed by the living Word of God through Bible translation. Gavin is a helicopter pilot. Carrie, who has her degree in Public Health, works in the lab at our busy rural clinic. Our son, Isaac, was born in 2004 and our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were born in 2012.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. The you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. -Proverbs 3:3-6

And then there were 5 . . .

Yes, Marcie came home today!  She's doing well after a few hours at home and hopefully can teach David some lessons on calming down and sleeping in the evening.  I'm exhausted so I'm heading to bed ASAP, but here are a couple pictures.  Will, Grace, and Seth are doing well.

  4. May blessings continue to fall on you all! You are beautiful. I am asking God to give you rest and strength as these babies trickle home! Isn't it amazing that each baby is provided time to be the focus of the family. They are so blessed to be welcomed by so many. I envision God stroking and cradling Will, Seth, and Gracie until you can do it for Him! This is so exciting! Thank you, God; thank you, God!

  14. These pictures made me so happy, Carrie and Gavin and Isaac! It is so good to see Marcie out of the hospital and that the Lord has allowed another one of your precious children to come home. Isn't that neat how He is giving you one at a time, to give you more time to adjust to each? I will pray the others come home soon, too. I am sure Isaac is a really good big brother; please tell him I miss him. Continuing to pray for you and praising God for little Marcie!
