This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We live in Papua New Guinea and are working to see lives transformed by the living Word of God through Bible translation. Gavin is a helicopter pilot. Carrie, who has her degree in Public Health, works in the lab at our busy rural clinic. Our son, Isaac, was born in 2004 and our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were born in 2012.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. The you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Thanksgiving pictures, finally

Thanksgiving in Texas:
My mom and our very brave hostess Lori tried to pacify the babies so I could wolf down my DELICIOUS food.

Thanksgiving in California:

What a lovely extended family dinner! I love and miss you all and wish I could have been in two places at once!

David cried so much Dad freed him from his bondage.

They all cried so much we let them out of the playpen. They were EVERYWHERE. I felt like I had 10 babies! Thank God for sending Nahe to help - she has her own little girl to care for, but still corralled mine!

    Do I detect I subtle contrast between "Thanksgiving in TX" and "Thanksgiving in CA"? Can't quite put my finger on it... Lori, you were indeed beyond brave, as was KJ, to host such a crew. It's a Thanksgiving we'll not forget. THANK YOU, LOVE YOU.
