This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We live in Papua New Guinea and are working to see lives transformed by the living Word of God through Bible translation. Gavin is a helicopter pilot. Carrie, who has her degree in Public Health, works in the lab at our busy rural clinic. Our son, Isaac, was born in 2004 and our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were born in 2012.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. The you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. -Proverbs 3:3-6

Miscellaneous cute pictures from the last few days

Gavin comes home tonight!!! Hooray! Thanks for praying for us here back home; it's been really good and we've been well provided for with help, thank God.

Gracie just started babbling a couple of days ago. SO CUTE!! She just started saying, "gee-gee-gee-gee" and then laughing at herself, like she was totally cracking herself up. Marcie is the last hold-out in the babbling department, which is funny since she was the first to vocalize. She really had it down while still in the NICU.

David is going nuts pulling himself up on everything! Seth continues to sit better and better (see below).

  4. Your kids are just TOO CUTE. The little girls picture is adorable!
I have to say you amaze me by keeping your little ones so attractively dressed. I have only had one at a time (8 times) and if it is hot, the kid is usually in a onesie, and if it is cold, the kid is in a sleeper. I thoroughly enjoy your pictures of well dressed little people :-).

    1. Trust me, it's due to having received REALLY cute clothes; I put them aside to remind myself to put them on the kids. I love our little photo shoots. I think when you are raising 7 other children by yourself, you don't have as much time to focus on dressing up the one baby, plus you don't have the incentive of being able to dress "twins," "triplets," or quintuplets identically. :) Most of the time our babies are diaper only when I'm in charge and it's a hot day!
