This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We live in Papua New Guinea and are working to see lives transformed by the living Word of God through Bible translation. Gavin is a helicopter pilot. Carrie, who has her degree in Public Health, works in the lab at our busy rural clinic. Our son, Isaac, was born in 2004 and our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were born in 2012.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. The you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. -Proverbs 3:3-6

Let's ride!

This was Isaac's Harley-Davidson do rag, and my favorite baby picture of him is of him wearing it. (Although I can't find that picture now! So sad. Others substitute; see below.) His siblings are pretty darn cute in the do rag, too! No surprise. :)

Seth (with an overabundance of tape on his cannula because he kept pulling it out) He has the BIGGEST head!

  2. He really does look like Will. Thank you for sharing your family we pray for them and you often. We only have one baby in this house (my 8 month old granddaughter) but she keeps me running as she is pulling herself up on everything. I had four (one at a time though) and I have no idea how I did my kids when I had three five and under and every time all three grandkids are in my care (they are also the same age break down as my first three 5, 2, and 8 months) I am so exhausted I can hardly stand it. Blessings upon you and I wish you rest and long baths!

    1. Thanks, Cheryl, for the encouragement. I get a ton of help, but even so I feel like I am drowning sometimes! Thanks for your prayers!

I so Love the pictures of Isaac's baby pictures!!!! there is a resemblance of the babies to him!!!! I haven't been sure how to write messages to you and prayers...Didn't quite understand the hacking stuff.......I LOVE SEEING THE PICTURES OF THE BABIES AND EVERYTHING THEY ARE DOING I CAN"T BELIEVE IT"S BEEN LESS THAN A YEAR AND THEY ARE DOING SO SO MUCH !!!!! I am still praying for everyone and your needs..including when Gavin was out of town....I KNEW God's Grace would be with you.I still pray for rest for you Carrie , and for enough volunteers. ( my 2 daughter and I would be there in a minute if we could .... WE ALL LOVE CARING FOR BABIES at time I just want to reach through the computer and hold them and show my love to them ,,)...I also have been praying for all of you about the storms around Dallas..I hope you have been safe and far enough away ...but also pray for the people affected around the country..We will be getting it today but not at all as bad as the middle of the country. What sizes are the babies in now? Still I am SO AMAZED ABOUT WHAT THEY ALL THEY ARE DOING,, AND HOW FAR THEY HAVE COME, PRAISE GOD FOR HIS MERCY, LOVE AND GRACE HE HAS BESTOWED ON ALL OF YOU THIS PASSED YEAR....FOLLOWING YOUR JOURNEY HAS DEEPENED MY FAITH AND OTHERS AROUND ME WHEN I SHARE WHAT GOD HAS DONE FOR YOU.... My heart and prayers still goes out to for your volunteer who lost there young son please tell them they are not forgotten about from many many people and especially not from Our Heavenly Father, and his Grace is upon them...If they could find a "Grief Share " group there it would be such a blessing ,it's Very Christian and it's other's who have lost people close family members and it's such a great support..I've been through it and it's such a blessing.... Well I hope the gets to you..if i;m not sure the prayers are still there and I will keep trying...God Bless ...Brenda from Dayton Ohio.
