This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We live in Papua New Guinea and are working to see lives transformed by the living Word of God through Bible translation. Gavin is a helicopter pilot. Carrie, who has her degree in Public Health, works in the lab at our busy rural clinic. Our son, Isaac, was born in 2004 and our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were born in 2012.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. The you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. -Proverbs 3:3-6

TONS of pictures!

In all the hustle and bustle of the last couple of days (including having two of my childhood best friends, Kathryn and Amy, here), I've gotten behind on posting some gorgeous/fun photos Amy and Gavin took.

Kathryn doesn't want to be pictured due to her professional position,
but here she is reading Bible stories to Marcie and David.

Gracie all dolled up and loving the attention!

Seth's first appointment with his physical therapist - he needs to work on head control, but otherwise is doing great. Quick prayer request for him: While his vomiting has gotten a LOT better (thanks for praying!) he is losing rather than gaining weight. Of course, we discovered this after hours last night and so have to wait until Monday to contact the doctor's office, but we trust he won't waste away entirely in the meantime. Could be the formula change???

Isaac and David, the baby he named. He LOVES to help with the babies!

Sweet Seth with his big blue eyes
Getting Seth into the stroller is a bit of a production, but his oxygen fits in the box below his seat, and he sure loves it!

Auntie Deb taking all five on a walk! A couple of helpers went along.

Marcie strapped in and ready to go!

Will, too!

  6. My twins changed from neosure to similac sensitive for spit up. When they did our dr gave us a "recipe" for making the sensitive the same number of calories as the neosure. Ask his pediatrician for the corrected ratio of formula to water. Also they were put on axid which really helped with vomiting/reflux.With axid I could tell when their weight had changed bc throw up increased. (Once dose was corrected spit up decreased)
