We are supposed to be on Good Morning, America tomorrow morning, Friday, the 8th. Another news crew came by this evening to interview us and video the babies. We just pray the facts will be right and God will be glorified in it all.

This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We live in Papua New Guinea and are working to see lives transformed by the living Word of God through Bible translation. Gavin is a helicopter pilot. Carrie, who has her degree in Public Health, works in the lab at our busy rural clinic. Our son, Isaac, was born in 2004 and our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were born in 2012.
Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. The you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. -Proverbs 3:3-6

Awww, miss you! Love, Carrie
DeleteWhat a great segment! Isaac was right - it does get noisy! I'm very happy for you that everyone is home and healthy.

Though it was a challenge, I finally brought up the interview and it was awesome. Always rmember that God is in control. From the start and before, He knew.
ReplyDeleteLove you all so very much,
Judith
Hey Jones family, it's Beth Matheson with Youth and Family Ministries at JAARS. Carrie, I met you last spring when you came with Katrina to a women's retreat, and we had a sweet time of praying over you and those miracle babies, who were only eight weeks along at the time. What a treat it was to see you all on GMA this morning! We've been praying for your family, for Seth especially, and we look forward to having all of those kids pile in the door for youth group one of these days when you guys come back through JAARS!
ReplyDeleteLove and blessings,
Beth
Would it be possible for you to post a link to the GMA segment. I don't have TVs hooked up in my new apartment. I'd love to see it.
ReplyDeleteI found the clip here - really nicely done! Loving how God continues to bless - despite some negative press, in the end He will get all the glory and honor for these little miracles. NKL

You might have to cut and paste.
Enjoyed seeing you all of tv! Carrie - you look terrific; such a happy mommy. It has been such a joy following your blog.
ReplyDeleteI found the link to your blog on Fox News. I'm not usually a fan of blogs, but who can resist sweet babies? I see from your pictures and reading posts that you are on quite an adventure, one I can't imagine. But the main reason I decided to follow your blog was seeing that you work with Wycliffe Bible Translators. I have known so many wonderful missionaries who have worked with Wycliffe in many parts of the world and have always had such great respect and admiration for them. I'm looking forward to reading more about your lives and your children.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!! Love, Carrie
DeleteTo Gavin and Carrie, God bless you as you care for these precious babies!! I can only imagine!.... I was so glad to hear that you were nursing and I realize what an accomplishment that is. Your story is truely uplifting and I will pray for all of you.You need all the help you can get! Sincerely, Laurie
