This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We live in Papua New Guinea and are working to see lives transformed by the living Word of God through Bible translation. Gavin is a helicopter pilot. Carrie, who has her degree in Public Health, works in the lab at our busy rural clinic. Our son, Isaac, was born in 2004 and our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were born in 2012.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. The you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. -Proverbs 3:3-6

Thank you!!

I am so very, very behind on personal thank you's and intended to make this into a postcard for that purpose. However, please accept this as a temporary replacement expression of gratitude for your kindness and amazing generosity in service, prayer, cards, emails, notes on our blog or Facebook, gifts to the babies, Isaac and us (including via our mission organization account), and every way in which you've given love and support. Our Heavenly Father has done than we could have asked or imagined, including through YOU! I hope you know who you are - we do!  We cherish each of you as God's provision during this time of abundance in babies and in blessings. :)

(I wish the babies had the patience to be photographed with every wonderful gift they've been sent!)

Right top: Marcie, Will, David, Seth, Gracie

  6. So sweet! Love these photos! I totally understand about not being able to keep up with the personal thank you's. When Carter was sick and we were blessed by so many acts of service and generosity, we could not keep up with thank you's. We needed to focus our time and attention on our son! And I'm sure that people understand that you need to focus your attention on your FOUR sons and TWO daughters! Like Gina commented above, thank YOU for keeping this blog updated!

  10. What preciousness!! (Is that a word!? If not, it should be, with these wonderful pics beside it in the dictionary!) It must be pure joy to wake up to these cuties in the morning - tired as you must be, I know that one smile is all it takes to make it a better day. I will echo the thank you's above for you sharing your journey with us and allowing us to be a part of it. Truly a blessing.

    And, Thank YOU, Lord. NKL
