This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We live in Papua New Guinea and are working to see lives transformed by the living Word of God through Bible translation. Gavin is a helicopter pilot. Carrie, who has her degree in Public Health, works in the lab at our busy rural clinic. Our son, Isaac, was born in 2004 and our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were born in 2012.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. The you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. -Proverbs 3:3-6

And more random pics

Hey, it's the best way to blog; each picture is worth a thousand words but takes you much less time to enjoy! :o)

Gracie ("The eyes have it!")

Can you tell which baby was Laurie's favorite? She took the Gracie bath photo too. (In fact, she took all of these photos!) Again, thanks to Cecil and Lou's Threads for the adorable outfit! See previous post for more pics.

Our secret weapon for happy photo shoots: Big Brother Isaac, who never fails to get a laugh from at least a couple of the babies and ALWAYS from David! He's our laughingest baby by far, although Marcie and Grace are fairly merry, and Will and Seth have sweet smiles and chortles too. They just don't give them out quite as frequently.

Marcie loved her first experience with cereal! And her second, today.
We're just experimenting; nothing serious yet.

This gives you a closer few of David's helmet. I don't think he was quite so keen on the cereal, and Will was terrified of the spoon! He's a lion with a lamb's heart. :)

How cute is Marcie?! Thanks again, Laurie, for your visit and huge help and for loving all the babies, not just Grace. ;)

  2. Carrie- tell your folks that what we did in school is coming back to me. We used to try so hard to get them off topic and start them telling stories about their school days or whatever- now my students are getting me off topic as I share pictures of your precious babies!

  5. Those little ones seem like they are a handful. It is hard work to stay organized with that much action going on. Wish you the best of luck!
