"There was never a child so lovely but his mother was glad to get him to sleep."

Ralph Waldo Emerson spoke true. :)

David (yes, I covered his arms after taking the picture)

The sole hold-out, Grace, who delighted me by shortly thereafter falling asleep. :)

(Marcia, did I get their afghans straight? I love them! Thanks again!)

  1. Thanks so much for the pictures with the afghans. They are such adorable little ones. I think David has Seth's. The others are right. Not that it matters that much. I'm sure sharing is something they'll do a lot of over the years. Marcia

  2. All the hand-crafted things are so wonderful to see. There are so many very talented people out there.

I was driving to church this morning and thought, I am sure that even Mary had those nights when she looked towards heaven and said, " when are you going to put your son to sleep?" Judith

  3. Don't know what all the fuss has been about, they all look perfectly content to me! :)....joking of course. They are all beautiful, and asleep they are even MORE precious I'm sure!

  4. Great quote! And so very, very true! I hope your five will all be super good sleepers soon.

  5. I think I can't agree with the spammer above. I don't find it at all fastidious to read this weblog - ha ha.

I'm pretty much overwhelmed by this cuteness. Thanks for taking a little journey to dreamland, babies. Look forward to hanging out with you again in a few weeks :)

    1. Emma, you absolutely crack me up with your comment on the spammer. Too funny!

  6. What precious little ones - Thank You, Lord, for the blessings of sleep, for the renewal it brings and the peace it provides to parents. Please help these beautiful babes to take full advantage of this blessing. All praise to You, Lord, for continued mercies and this season when we celebrate Your Great Gift. NKL
