This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We live in Papua New Guinea and are working to see lives transformed by the living Word of God through Bible translation. Gavin is a helicopter pilot. Carrie, who has her degree in Public Health, works in the lab at our busy rural clinic. Our son, Isaac, was born in 2004 and our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were born in 2012.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. The you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. -Proverbs 3:3-6

Reading to quints, Princesses, fun with Isaac, and strange "jewelry"

Will, Marcie, Gracie, Seth and David (the day their 2-year-old portraits were taken - three still have their outfits on!)

This book used to be Isaac's favorite (about airplanes) so I pretty much have it memorized. Every time the boys find it they ask for it, or they'll ask for it sight unseen because they love it so much!

Birthday gifts from Marmi and Papa!

Isaac with Will and Seth - who is reading a book the whole time he's being wheeled around. So cute!

Marcie thought this would be a beautiful "pretty" (i.e. jewelry). It's two long curtain-hanging springs!
The girls in darling strawberry outfits from Aunt Krista and Uncle Todd. They love to wear the bows on their heads now.

  3. Carrie, I'd private messaged you on facebook and commented on you fb page and didn't get a response, then realized that maybe you are posting on your blog then having it share to fb. So, here is the message:

I was wondering if you know Aaron and Lori Luse with New Tribes in Patpatar, PNG. They are asking for someone to come and help homeschool 3 of their kids and my Libby is thinking of doing it. They are emailing back and forth and she's on to the next step of applying. PLEASE let me know if you have ANY hesitations there. It is just a short term, 3 month, commitment. I am, of course, very excited for her and maybe I might be able to come and visit her and also YOU!!

You can private message me on fb or email me at eubyfam@sbcglobal.net I'd love to hear from you and absolutely love, love, love seeing pictures and videos of your sweet family. Thanks for sharing!!

    Love, Frances
