This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We live in Papua New Guinea and are working to see lives transformed by the living Word of God through Bible translation. Gavin is a helicopter pilot. Carrie, who has her degree in Public Health, works in the lab at our busy rural clinic. Our son, Isaac, was born in 2004 and our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were born in 2012.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. The you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. -Proverbs 3:3-6

If you build it, they will come! . . . and destroy it.

Sometimes siblings make it very difficult to accomplish anything . . .

But eventually it may work out, and it's usually a lot of fun!

(Do you love how Gavin snapped her onesie over her pants? He said it was easier that way.)

I love how the Desitin became the top of this tower (above and right).

I think the highest the kids have been able to build on their own is five blocks. Hey, I'm impressed! :)

Thankfully Sarah was here today and yesterday to take pictures, otherwise I would have nothing to post. The couple of times I've tried to grab the camera the babies have stopped doing whatever cuteness they were doing or the camera batteries have died.

David's funny hands-behind-his-back pose
A couple of extra photos of David . . .

  1. I have a friend that is a foster mom to 3 boys under the age of 3 and she ALWAYS puts the onesies on the outside of pants because they cant take their pants off that way or when they were crawlers they wouldnt crawl out of the pants. I thought it was a brilliant idea. lol
