This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We live in Papua New Guinea and are working to see lives transformed by the living Word of God through Bible translation. Gavin is a helicopter pilot. Carrie, who has her degree in Public Health, works in the lab at our busy rural clinic. Our son, Isaac, was born in 2004 and our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were born in 2012.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. The you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. -Proverbs 3:3-6

Amazon.com wish list

Someone asked me how to find our wish list. (And by the way, it's not complete yet - I have some items I need to add once I figure out numbers, sizes, dimensions, etc. - but there are a couple dozen items there already.)

You can click on "Wish List" in the upper right-hand corner of the Amazon.com home screen, select "Find a wish list or registry," and then type in Gavin R. Jones. You should see us as the first option, with Gavin Jones Quintuplets Wish List as one of the options in the box with a picture of us from Christmas. :)

Thank you!!!
Carrie

Sorry, not many pictures to post today:

Seth decided it was time to stand on his own - on the coffee table that had been moved to another room to prevent falls! He continually climbs up and stands on it (it's now shoved up against the couch and has crash pads - including our giant stuffed puppy, Philbert, all around it). He has also been standing on his own and walking around a bit near toys. I cut myself out of this picture, but I was standing right in front of him ready to grab while Gavin took this picture. :)

My sweet little book-obsessed girls! Grace is the one holding the book, and she's headed to the bookstore with me now, thanks to Aunt Tracy wanting to buy us some more books - hooray! A dog book is a high priority.

    1. I love his cute, delighted grin in that picture! He grins like that and looks at us for approval every time he gets back up there. Will and Grace clap for him, too. :)
