How could I leave Isaac out of the last post??!! He's our WONDERFUL, delightful, polite, kind, gifted, handsome, loving son and big brother extraordinaire to the quints! At least I said there were more than five blessings, right? There are too many to count, but Isaac definitely deserves a huge mention. We love you, our precious first-born, and we're more proud of you than we can ever say!
This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We live in Papua New Guinea and are working to see lives transformed by the living Word of God through Bible translation. Gavin is a helicopter pilot. Carrie, who has her degree in Public Health, works in the lab at our busy rural clinic. Our son, Isaac, was born in 2004 and our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were born in 2012.
Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. The you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. -Proverbs 3:3-6

Siblings like Isaac are full of love and caring. My grandson just finished a sentence at school __ The best thing about my life is -- my three brothers and two sisters. All these were individual births. I know you are so proud of him since he has accepted his role so willingly. Evidence of your good parenting is in Isaac. God's blessings on you all!
ReplyDeleteThat's sweet, Wilma! Thank you! See you SOON! - Love, Carrie
DeleteI know this blog is about the five babies, but it is so nice when you include their big brother. I'm happy to hear that he loves the babies and they love him ... what a joy!
ReplyDeleteI simply love seeing pictures of all of you. Isaac is getting to be quite a young man and the babies, well they are growing up just too fast!! Thanks for posting pictures and please keep doing so as you have time. I am still planning to come out in December and am starting to get excited even though it's still several weeks away.
ReplyDeleteLove to all,
Gail Boemker
Quint wranglers always welcome! :)
DeleteI can only begin to imagine how much help Mr. Isaac is to you both! Issac always has a huge smile on his face. The quints are very, very lucky to have such a loving big brother to watch over them. I bet he is getting anxious for Halloween to get here too. Please tell Isaac that he is in my prayers daily as well as everyone in your family. Raising these 5 quints is going to be a true "family affair" and I am sure Isaac will continue to be right in there and do his part! I hope school is going well for him this year too, I know I've read through the blog that he is a good student. Isaac is a blessing for sure!
ReplyDeleteHe's doing very well in school, thanks! :) He and we appreciate your prayers very much. Love, Carrie
DeleteISAAC: #1 Grandson!!!
