Hi all,
Seth still has a fever, but it's lower now (plus he's getting Motrin/Advil). It broke soon after I posted in the middle of the night. He was just covered in sweat and clammy but no longer hot. That made me feel better, of course. :)
This morning he vomited when he woke up which gives me hope it's not a respiratory infection! He played happily afterwards, so that's a huge relief. He's taking a much longer than normal nap, which is wonderful. Please keep praying!
We have an appointment at 2:30 for the doctor to listen to his lungs and maybe figure out what this is.
David and Marcie also felt warm this morning. Thanks for praying for all of us!
Love and gratitude,
Carrie
This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We live in Papua New Guinea and are working to see lives transformed by the living Word of God through Bible translation. Gavin is a helicopter pilot. Carrie, who has her degree in Public Health, works in the lab at our busy rural clinic. Our son, Isaac, was born in 2004 and our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were born in 2012.
Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. The you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. -Proverbs 3:3-6

So glad to hear Seth is doing some better. I told Alan my body and mind would be at work today, but my heart would be with Seth. Love that kid!
ReplyDeleteHe loves you too, Lynee. You can see his affection whenever he looks at you.
ReplyDeleteHe definitely loves Lynee!!! The other day after he woke up she went to put her computer away so she could hold him and he screamed when she left the room!! So happy she can spend so much time with those precious babies!! Jealous but in a good way :-D
ReplyDeletePraying for all
ReplyDeleteGood grief....these guys just love "sharing" don't they? Prayers will be ramped up for Seth and those that look like they might be going there too. And asking God to send a special blessing of Peace for you Carrie...you are an awesome Mom and you have the patience of Job! May God's healing and loving arms envelop you all!
