This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We live in Papua New Guinea and are working to see lives transformed by the living Word of God through Bible translation. Gavin is a helicopter pilot. Carrie, who has her degree in Public Health, works in the lab at our busy rural clinic. Our son, Isaac, was born in 2004 and our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were born in 2012.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. The you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. -Proverbs 3:3-6

  1. I forgot to update re: the colds, especially Seth's. The kids are really struggling with just feeling crummy, and Seth is definitely the worst, but he still has good color and breathing, thank God. It's just hard to have so many very needy babies at the same time, poor things. I can't cuddle each one as much as I'd like to, and of course everyone wants Mama right now. (Although Daddy is super popular, too!) Thanks for praying! Our shipment is sealed and loaded, so we're breathing a sigh of relief and taking a bit of a rest from the constant rushing about. Love, Carrie

  3. Gavin and Carrie, thank you so much for continuing to keep these blogs up, They are a highlight for me each evening when I log on. I know all the babies faces now, and love hearing how they are each developing. We have been supporting a work (NTM missionaries) in PNG among the Inapang for years here at our church in the UK. ( www.milnrow.org ) When I 'found' your site some time last summer when they were already past all those scary months in neo-natal care , I just had to keep following your story. We will be watching with interest and praying as you return to the field. love in our wonderful Lord. Colette Harding
