This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We live in Papua New Guinea and are working to see lives transformed by the living Word of God through Bible translation. Gavin is a helicopter pilot. Carrie, who has her degree in Public Health, works in the lab at our busy rural clinic. Our son, Isaac, was born in 2004 and our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were born in 2012.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. The you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. -Proverbs 3:3-6

Visiting our friends' guinea pigs

It's been a long time since my last update, and in the meantime I've discovered some photos I don't think I ever posted. Just regular life, but I know a lot of you care and are just happy to see pictures of the kids!

The quints are doing really well, and are soooooooo verbal now! Today as we arrived home for lunch Seth yelled, "Mom, check it out! It's Daddy's motorcycle!"

They make us laugh several times a day. Last night Will told Gavin that "God/Jesus" made the world, and Jesus made Will, then added "and Mommy made my bed."

Gracie is our most fearless when it comes to trying new things.
She was the only quint willing to hold a guinea pig on her own.
Gracie's expression made me include this pic!

David is excited to watch, but not to hold or touch yet.

Seth dares to touch one with one finger (held by Jenny Beth)

Marcie is finally courageous enough to let me help her hold one
