This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We live in Papua New Guinea and are working to see lives transformed by the living Word of God through Bible translation. Gavin is a helicopter pilot. Carrie, who has her degree in Public Health, works in the lab at our busy rural clinic. Our son, Isaac, was born in 2004 and our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were born in 2012.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. The you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. -Proverbs 3:3-6

The girls

Marcie and Gracie happy to go on their morning walk with Aunt Lynnette, looking cute as can be in yet more darling outfits from Aunt Brenda!

Marcie climbed into the jogging stroller. The kids are climbing everything! This morning David climbed up onto one of our easy chairs and tried to climb onto a side table. Thank God, Julie rescued him in time. I was in the kitchen heating up a bottle for Will. This is why we need two people on these babies if at all possible! :}

Marcie is either VERY happy or VERY broken-hearted. Her wail is the most pathetic imaginable, with giant tears. She's started doing a really cute little high-pitched "baby" voice and pointing with her tiny index finger at anything she's interested in. Apparently she's telling us about it. Her baby voice really makes its appearance when she sees any sort of stuffed animal or picture of a baby. She especially loves to point at and talk about the babies' 1-year-old birthday portraits. :)

I posted one like this a couple weeks ago, but I just found this one of Gracie alone. It's too cute not to post! The other day when I got Marcie up from her nap, Gracie was so delighted to see her sister she just couldn't stop grinning and laughing and squealing. She came over to sit with Marcie, who of course smiled and squealed right back. They are best friends!
