This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We lived in Papua New Guinea for 18 years working to see lives transformed by the living Word of God in support of Bible translation. Gavin is a helicopter pilot. Carrie, who has her degree in Public Health, worked in the lab at our busy rural clinic. Currently, we are serving the mission in the USA in Recruiting, pilot training, and facilities maintenance work. Our son, Isaac, was born in 2004 and married Meagan in 2025. Our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were born in 2012.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. The you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. -Proverbs 3:3-6

A quick hi and a few photos




David has rejoined cross-country and medaled in the very first race of the season! The funny thing is, he was hundreds of feet away from the line-up when the gun went off (the race was moved up, and we were still pinning his number on!), so would have done even better if he hadn't had to run to even reach the start line! But he had a great attitude and said it actually helped to have to catch up to and pass so many other runners. This is his sweet coach who also coached Marcie for basketball. We were all laughing!







We love our kitties, but we do NOT love the 108 degree heat that requires them being indoors.
They are leaving us on Friday!






Marcie caught in the moment of begging her dad to let us keep at least this one, "Timber." 







Seth and David are the two boys in the navy blue shirts in the middle of the picture, taken at a recent MK youth group night. We love this community and that group of friends! God is good.





So blessed to get to be the mom of these five AMAZING 14-year-olds! Again, God is GOOD.
