This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We live in Papua New Guinea and are working to see lives transformed by the living Word of God through Bible translation. Gavin is a helicopter pilot. Carrie, who has her degree in Public Health, works in the lab at our busy rural clinic. Our son, Isaac, was born in 2004 and our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were born in 2012.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. The you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Good News From Carrie!

 Our family is so thankful to the Lord today! Carrie got the results of her biopsy today and the suspicious spot is benign! No cancer!

We are now trying to figure out the quickest way to get her back to the other side of the world with us here in PNG. Please pray that Hong Kong (which is the only current viable commercial option) stays open long enough for her to get back to us.
Unfortunately, even when she gets back, she'll still have to be separated from us for two more weeks of quarantine.
We sure appreciate your prayers for her flight plans, for approval from the PNG government, for a negative COVID test, and for us in PNG who are missing our wife/mom.
