This is the blog for Gavin and Carrie Jones and family. We lived in Papua New Guinea for 18 years working to see lives transformed by the living Word of God in support of Bible translation. Gavin is a helicopter pilot. Carrie, who has her degree in Public Health, worked in the lab at our busy rural clinic. Currently, we are serving the mission in the USA in Recruiting, pilot training, and facilities maintenance work. Our son, Isaac, was born in 2004 and married Meagan in 2025. Our quintuplets, Will, David, Marcie, Seth, and Grace, were born in 2012.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. The you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all you heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. -Proverbs 3:3-6

This week's happenings

Uncle Kenneth and Aunt Courtney and Aunt Katie brought a petting zoo to us! There were four dogs in the house at one point. Crazy fun! Will, Marcie, David and Seth with Parker the dog. Grace is visible in the background.

Isaac turned 10!! I am so proud of my big boy! Here he's posing with a foam dart gun he bought using gift cards.
Isaac's party is tomorrow, but we had fun celebrating with family on his actual birthday. (My mom realized she was wearing the exact same sweater for his 10th birthday dinner that she wore in the delivery room the day he was born!)

As always, Grandpadad came to visit daily. His boys demand instant attention! David's making a funny face; oh well!

    Happy Birthday Isaac..My God Richly Bless you this coming Year.......Hmmm does this mean there may be a dog joining the family soon?????

      They have their dog awaiting their return to PNG, Brenda. Her name is Velvet. I wouldn't be surprised if another one or two join the family though.
