We are about halfway there. The kids were desperate to go "bye-bye" but obviously have no idea how long this bye-bye will be. They are really sensing the turmoil, so it was a relief to leave the house. Please pray for those we leave behind and for us (all 12 of us, including our travel helpers) as we go, for safety, health, peace and joy, and of course for Seth to continue thriving.
We love you. Thanks for praying and helping us to this day.
Carrie for us all
Psalm 61:2
From the ends of the earth will I cry out to you, when my heart is overwhelmed lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
We all prayed for your family in church today and know that those prayers follow you as you travel. Praying for grace for your health, peace and protection.
ReplyDeleteSafe travels, happy (sleepy) babies......peace for you and Gavin and your traveling partners! Will be "praying you home"....
ReplyDeletePraying God's protection and mercy for the long trip and His ministry for you in New Guinea! It has been such a joy to keep up with your dear family and see the ways God has used your testimony bringing Him glory. You will be in my prayers for the years ahead. Our son is a missionary in Kenya so this mother's heart will be praying for all 8 of you. Love from Houston, Marty
ReplyDeletePraying for God's protection for you all. we will pray as a family every day for you. I pray the babies will sleep since you are starting off at bedtime. I have friends moving there in January with 5 kids. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteThank you for blessing us by making it to Faith Bible Church this a.m. When Seth saw yours truly, he put out his arms to hold him: a treasured birthday gift (thank you Lord). What a sight it would be if we could all see the angels escorting you all the way :). You are all in His Mighty Hands. Blessings and prayers,
ReplyDeleteSo happy to see you all are landing. Hope the babies and helpers all are good.
