Thanks to all who have continued praying for our little guy. He is doing fine, recovering well, but still refluxing a lot, including some projectile vomiting. We've pushed very hard for them to switch him to the anti-reflux formula the others are on. This negative experience with food can't be helpful for his oral aversion.
We still hope to get him home mid-week; we'll update as soon as we know anything. I can hardly wait!!!
Our lovely Sunday afternoon volunteers took the babies on a walk this lovely Sunday afternoon. The weather was perfect and the babies got a lot of admiration. Too bad I missed it, but I sure needed and enjoyed my nap! :)
I have lots of pictures and videos to post when I get a chance, so I'll leave you with this darling Gracie montage! She is SO talkative and interactive!
Love and gratitude for all the prayers and gifts of every kind, including your time, energy and service!
Carrie
Lord, thank You that Seth's surgery went well, but now Lord, we ask that his reflux can be alleviated. Please be with those making the decisions regarding his healthcare so that the correct decisions are made, and Seth gets to come home this week. You are faithful, Lord, and we praise Your Holy Name. Amen. NKL
ReplyDeleteGracie is a doll!!
So thankful to hear Seth is still doing great And will possibly be home soon. So exciting!!! I am surprised they have not tried the anti-reflux formula already. I know they do this every day and know what they are doing, but I also feel sometimes a mother really does know best. My grandson stayed a week longer than need be, because no one would listen to my daughter. I went to the head of the NICU and he was amazed what we were asking had not been done. It was done that day and the next my grandson came home. He is seven now and a happy healthy very lively little boy happy to be in the first grade. I guarantee he will thrive at home with his family. God Bless youa ll and the pictures of Gracie are adorable.
ReplyDeleteRelieved to hear Seth is doing ok. I will be praying for his reflux to end so he can go home very soon. Grace is beautiful, such an expressive pair of eyes that little one has! Bless you all....prayers continue...
ReplyDeleteMarcie and David look so much alike. Love the picture of Will in his activity seat. I can identify with Grandpa and that swaddling skill. I never did master it. Maybe I'll do better in March.
