Please pray! Ventilator switch for Seth

They moved Seth from the oscillator, which he hated and which stresses him out, onto the conventional ventilator, and he is MUCH happier!!! Please join us in asking the Lord's mercy and power in helping Seth stay on the conventional vent and THRIVE on it so he can receive breathing treatments and be weaned off machines altogether.

Grace's breathing continues to improve after her surgery, albeit slower than expected, and the other 3 are doing well. The goal this week is to get David, Will and Marcie onto nasal cannula and get Grace onto CPAP.

They are 1 month old and 2 months young today (born nearly 3 months early). :) We praise God for their little lives that have blessed us so much! We thank God for all of you who are on this journey with us through your prayers, service, gifts, support, encouragement, etc., etc. We are in awe at how the Lord has provided all we need day to day, including strength and courage not of ourselves, and peace that passes understanding for the hard days. Honestly, I deeply hope and pray the hard days are largely, if not totally, behind us. It's so good to see all the babies making strides in the right direction!

In His Hands,
Carrie

  1. God Your Mighty healing hands,Your Great Love,Faithfulness, and your wisdom, has lead these Five Tiny Babies through their first month, outside their Mother's womb. Lord we pray that this next month you will Lead these Babies toward breathing on their own,and to accept regular feeding. We ask you Lord to especially help Your Little Seth and Grace..As All of them continue to rest in your loving arms...In Jesus Name Amen

  2. Praying Lord for little Seth that his breathing will become less of a strain on him and that he adapts quickly to the new machine so that he can grow strong and soon be breathing on his own. Thanking you Lord for answered prayers for all the little sibs and for helping Carrie, Gavin and Isaac as they go through each day. You are an awesome God and we praise you. NKL
