Please pray the nurse practitioner can get a PICC line, "peripherally inserted central catheter," into David as well. He needs it because he's on 3 different fluids, including the antibiotic for his necrotizing enterocolitis, which is hard on veins, and the IV feeds since he's on full gut rest. His little veins can't take continuing IVs and re-starts.
He's been very difficult to "thread" with the catheter as it keeps wanting to branch off in a different direction rather than dip down into his superior vena cava (at the top of the heart). Thanks for praying for the practitioners and for David as he endures this procedure! He's not feeling well, either, so it's a lot for a tiny boy.
Praise: Seth is at 42% oxygen right now!! The others are doing fine, Gracie still waiting for her PICC line placement. Thanks for praying for her, too!
Love and gratitude in Him,
Carrie
Dear Lord, You know the needs of these little ones for healing, either by your Devine Intervention or by working your miracles through the doctors, and we pray for successful procedures through either means by Your Will for David and Gracie. And, Thank You, Lord, for answered prayer that Seth is improving and that Will and Marcie continue to do well. You are amazing God and we put all our trust and faith in You to care for your children. ReplyDeleteI will keep david in my prayers. The insertion of catheters can always be a tough and grueling process for anyone. I had a grandfather who went through what seems to be the same treatment. I pray and hope that salvation greets your family soon.
