One friend waited until her daughter's first day of preschool. And yes, I'm a huge fan: they were TOTALLY worth it, a HUGE blessing. (They were also non-optional in the NICU, so our kids loved them long before they came home!) I wish my first-born had taken one! The quints' teeth are already starting to return to their proper place, unless I'm just imagining it(?). With my middle we said for a year "When you turn four, binkies no more!" Yes FOUR! And I didn't care one bit! It was a huge source of comfort for my kids and I had no desire to diminish that. Now my youngest is pushing 3 and we are going to have to start the mantra all over again, but I have no regrets! Congratulations to you for going binkie free!
