After two days of cold symptoms all the babies had, Seth became lethargic, had obvious extra work breathing and had poor skin color. I took him to the closest ER, from which he then had to be taken by ambulance to the specialty Children's hospital near Fresno. Please pray. Reading about the mortality rate of RSV (a common virus in early childhood) among kids with Seth's history of
Chronic Lung Disease is pretty terrifying.
Praying for Mr. Seth. He is such a precious boy!
ReplyDeleteThis was on my reader this morning directly after the post about Seth. Psalm 28:1-2
ReplyDeleteTo you, O LORD, I call; my rock, be not deaf to me, lest, if you be silent to me, I become like those who go down to the pit. Hear the voice of my pleas for mercy, when I cry to you for help, when I lift up my hands toward your most holy sanctuary.
We will be praying for mercy, peace and strength for you all.
OMGoodness Carrie, I am on my knees praying right this second....
ReplyDeleteOh that is horrible! How fortunate though that you were still in CA close by the best hospital care. My thoughts are with Seth and his ASAP recovery.
ReplyDeleteI have been praying about your decision to move back to New Guinea. I am devastated to read today about precious baby Seth. Please God, hold him in your loving arms and heal this beloved and cherished child.
