A couple of days ago when it iced over we came about as close to being a winter wonderland as we ever do in Texas (although last year on Christmas Day it snowed!). David, nonetheless, was very keen to go outside. Lacking gloves for his cold little hands, we shoved him into a full-coverage fluffy suit with inexplicable bear ears and built-in mittens. It worked pretty well! Will wanted to try, too, but he couldn't make it off the porch. He fell down and "lay there like a slug. It was his only defense." [If you haven't seen the movie
A Christmas Story, you'll have no idea what I'm talking about!]

David is a little man who HAS to walk/run/move |
David might like to visit Finland during the winter time. He is a good sport! Keep going buddy!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving You all! Always makes my day reading what's up in your end.
You're so sweet!! :)
DeleteInexplicable bear ears?? They're adorable, that's the only explanation you need> :)
ReplyDeleteOk, I agree. Great point. :) Love you!
DeleteBear ears on a striped suit look crazy, but they are cute anyway!
ReplyDeleteMy mom finds them adorable, as do I, admittedly. :)
DeleteCatching up on a few posts and grinning ear to ear - what a transformation from this time last year. Praise God for all His blessings and your beautiful brood. Happy Day After Thanksgiving!! NKL
ReplyDeleteIsn't the transformation incredible?? Seth wore one of the shirts you bought the boys - it's one of my favorites "Mommy's Little Rascal" I frequently match them in those when we go out. :) Love, Carrie
